From the beginning of the AI revolution, I have wondered what knowledge is hidden in the metadata of thousands and now millions of images circulating on the internet. Images that are constantly analyzed by machine learning. Can we get an idea of how humanity views the world through the analysis of metadata? In my other series on metadata, you can see how I use metadata to get an idea of what the future will look like. According to Yuval Noah Harari (an Israeli medievalist, military historian, public intellectual, and writer), the future is hidden in the past and current developments.
In the first image below, I wondered how an avant-garde photographer would create an image of three blonde sisters, around 20 years old, with different characters in the US in the 1960s.
