This work transforms one of the most recognisable images of destruction into a visual typology. Repeated and isolated, the mushroom cloud becomes almost abstract, suspended between beauty and threat. Generated through artificial intelligence, the images question how collective memory is shaped by repetition, mediation and the visual codes through which history is remembered.
