DIGITAL DEGENERATION
2015

I was wondering what would happen if you take a print of a picture, scan it to your computer and then upload it to different social media, download it on your mobile device, upload it to other social media, take print screen, upload it again and so on... To be honnest I like the result. The images tend to loose quality and fade away like our memories fade away with time. What will happen to all our digital photos stored on hard disks and in the cloud within 100 years. Will they also fade and reduce in quality like the images of our grandparents?
"Digital Degeneration" is a thought-provoking series of six artworks. These explore the ways in which technology alters our perception of reality, the human body, and our surroundings. Through abstract, fragmented, and distorted forms, the series questions the consequences of living in an increasingly digital world.
This series reflects on the complex relationship between human beings and technology, focusing on how the digital world distorts both our external environments and our internal selves. Each diptych captures the tension between form and formlessness, structure and disintegration, ultimately offering a visual meditation on the fragility of identity in the face of digital transformation. Through these powerful images, the series invites viewers to question the long-term effects of technological immersion on both individual and collective humanity.

End of light / Vanishing Point
This image explores the convergence of perspectives, inviting viewers to consider the intersection of technology, perception, and infinity. The beams of light stretch outward, suggesting a journey toward an unknown destination or the collapse of space into a singular point. The contrast between light and darkness symbolizes the tension between clarity and obscurity, or the merging of reality and the digital realm.
