AI before alignment
DEI by MetaData
This work brings together images (four) generated by artificial intelligence before ethical alignment became an explicit design goal.
Starting from abstract concepts such as diversity, equality and inclusion, the machine translated language into form, not through understanding or intention, but through statistical association.
The work juxtaposes two visual regimes: figurative identity and structural abstraction.
Rather than illustrating values, it exposes how meaning, order and hierarchy emerge when a machine is asked to interpret human concepts without ethical awareness.

The final artwork functions as a reflective space not a statement about diversity, but an observation of how artificial systems organise meaning before learning how to explain themselves.
What makes this project distinctive is that artificial intelligence was not only involved in the generation of the images, but also in shaping the final artwork itself.
AI contributed to decisions about composition, spatial arrangement and the way the images could be presented as a single exhibition piece.
